How we document daily life
Every photograph on this archive follows the same three-step approach, from the first walk-through to the finished image.
Scout the location
We walk the neighbourhood first, without a camera, to understand how a plaza, market or transit stop is actually used before we ever photograph it.
Return and observe
We revisit the same public space at different times of day and across seasons, watching the routines and small rituals that make it familiar.
Photograph with consent
When a person appears clearly in a frame, we introduce ourselves and explain the project before the photograph is added to the archive.
